Procurement Technician (Purchase Card Program Coordinator)

PD# 4285-A Performs a series of analytical, administrative, coordinating and monitoring duties related to the Purchase Card Program.
Manages, administers and ensures compliance with Purchase Card Program Standards, Policies and Procedures.
Responds to direct inquiries by the Office of Inspector General, and the Austin Finance Center.
Analyzes and evaluates, on a quantitattier and qualitative basis, the effectiveness of the purchase card program or operations in meeting established goals and objectives.
Analyzes program performance data to identify problem areas and impact, and prevent fraud and abuse.
Responsible for coordinating and monitoring disputed procurements, billing errors, disputed payments, credits.
Coordinates and monitors the resolution of billing errors, disputed payments, and credits with the card provider and assists cardholders or intercedes, as required.
Performs monthly reviews of undelivered and partial orders greater than thirty (30) days to ensure proper action is taken.
Involves providing technical assistance, education, performing audits, collecting, analyzing and interpreting data, and preparing management reports.
I nvestigates and analyzes adverse quality trends or conditions and initiates corrective action.
Monitors qualitattier and quantitative measurements to identify quality program trends.
Identifies areas requiring further analysis.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
