Accounting and Payroll Specialist
As Creative Management's Accounting and Payroll Specialist you will perform the following
Essential Functions:
Manage company payroll system including entering raises, deductions, withholdings; entering bonuses and other pay; verifying timesheets; and ensuring proper pay stubs get to each restaurant
Handle Accounts Payable including entering deposits, ACH payments, AMEX bills, and TRACS orders into Quickbooks; cutting checks for invoices not run through Bill.com; reconciling monthly bank statements; and performing inter-company payments.
Assist with tax preparation including figuring and filing sales tax each month; assisting with 941 and 940 tax preparation; maintaining tax filings (940, 941, sales, use, and consumer); and comparing P&L statements
Manage employee direct deposit and paycards including assigning and entering information in Proliant payroll system
Manage cashless including balancing cashless sheets each week and entering cashless sales in Quickbooks
Handle accounting for McDonald's co-op including reconciling bank statements; maintaining a checkbook ledge; performing A/R and A/P functions; and figuring dues amounts on a yearly basis
Co-manage employee health insurance program including assisting with open enrollment; maintaining proper employee filings (decline vs. accept); figuring premiums; staying up-to-date on employee job titles and the resulting change in insurance cost; verifying crew insurance deductions through MIP; and reconciling monthly insurance bills.
Manage the company AMEX account including tracking monthly charges; assigning charges to store and expense code; and collecting invoices for charges made.
Handle accounting for employee uniforms including assigning Payless shopping cards; splitting invoices by stores; and figuring payroll deductions.
Handle employee incentive payouts
Handle employment verifications
Maintain records of mileage logs for company cars
Experience necessary:
Associates/Bachelors degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience
Highly developed Microsoft Excel proficiency
Experience with Quickbooks or Peachtree software
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
