OnsiteThe Mission Systems manufacturing team is seeking a highly motivated, talented Manufacturing leader who has the desire to lead and coach our team in the final assembly and test process in Coralville, Iowa facility.
In this role you will be responsible for managing a dedicated team in the production environment for critical programs for customer deliveries.

This leader will be expected to drive improved performance utilizing the aspects of CORE and continuous improvement.
Leads a large team of experienced Manufacturing Operations professionals or production team leaders.
Establishes long-term objectives and guidelines for managing and monitoring cell performance and productivity.
Directs scheduling and sequencing of work and production innovation to optimize production.
This role will be performed ONSITE in our Collins Aerospace location in Coralville, IA.

Responsibilities:
Leads the manufacturing team focused on supporting circuit card assembly and final product assembly and test for the Coralville, IA facility.
This role will partner with multiple engineering teams and programs to ensure program / product goals are met.
Manages and ensures all quality related items for the unit or shift are complete and documented so that established quality standards are met.
Leads cost reduction efforts and process improvements for the unit or shift to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness.
Leads scheduling for the unit or shift to ensure that operations run according to established production schedules.
Heads materials and logistics problem resolution for the unit or shift to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations.
Establishes performance objectives and leads cell performance and productivity.
Leads production innovation, including additive manufacturing, for the unit or shift to enhance production capabilities.
Partners with customers to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of services.
Qualifications/ Experience Needed:
Typically requires University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience oran Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience orin absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experienceU.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD.
The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
