The Service Manager is responsible for the profitability of the Service Department, providing the highest level of customer service to our customers, and building a positive and productive work environment to help both grow our clientele and employees.
Job
Responsibilities:
Hiring and supervising all service department personnel.
Monitor, track, and train department personnel on their performance.
Create goals and objectives for the service department personnel.
Maintain and/or create a positive work environment for the service department personnel.
Build the department culture to promote customer lifetime owner loyalty.
Performing necessary training on administrative policies and procedures for all department personnel.
Enforce technical training on new systems and components offered by the automotive manufacturers.
Keeping up-to-date on manufacturer warranty and policy procedures while serving as a liaison with the factory representatives.
Maintain the highest Customer Service Index (CSI) rating from customers by handling customer complaints immediately and according to dealership policy.
Job Requirements:
Previous manager experience preferred.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong understanding of financial statements Knowledge of an able to train employees on federal, state, and local regulations with respect to hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know.
